On 18.05.2010. Regional Agency for Socio Economic Development – Banat was visited by Ambassadors of EU countries. Klemens Koja, the Ambassador of Austria, Bjorn Linderfalk, consultant of Ambassy of Sweden and  Hose Bustamante, first advisor of EU Delegation.
The Director of the RDA Banat, Mirjana Paunov, greeted them, and beside her, team leaders of MSPNE and RSEDP programs, William Lewis and Fred Millan, also greeted guests.
The Director of the RDA, Mirjana Paunov, then presented previous work and achieved results of the Agency.

Hose Butamante said that this visit to Zrenjanin was organized in order to present potentials of the city in the best way, as well as to discuss that the cooperation should not be only between big cities. He also expressed that they have previously helped Zrenjanin, 20 million EURO was invested, which were donations of EAR, latter through European Commission, and now through EU Delegation. This help was through various ways, and now we are here to see how we can expand this help – said the first advisor of EU Delegation, Mister Bustamante.

His Excellency the Ambassador of Austria, Mr. Clemens Koja said that this visit had double effectduring this visit, the information on EU will be presented, and that guests will be introduced with the economy of the City and possible problems.

His Excellency Mr. Clemens Koja, Ambassador of Austria said that this visit had a double effect: on the one hand they are informed of our local government representatives about the attitudes of EU member states, on the other hand during these visits to regions they receive information about the economy, development, life in smaller communities.
